Piergiovanni Salimbeni is an independent Italian journalist and the owner of Binomania.it, a website about sports optics, astronomy and photography. In his free time he does voluntary service as Ecological Guard at Palude Brabbia Natural Reserve where he also dedicates himself to naturalistic and landscape photography. He is a member of LIPU (Italian League for the Protection of Birds) and of ATS (Antique Telescope Society).
