VARIETY TOUR 2014 Last Day

Final stop, 01st November 2014

Our last day of the incredible Variety Tour starts again very early. Today it is the first day of the Chinese Water Deer season. Chinese water deer were first introduced into Great Britain in the 1870s. The animals were kept in the London Zoo until 1896, when Herbrand Russell oversaw their transferral to Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire. More of the animals were imported and added to the herd over the next three decades. Today the area around Bedford is well known for its huge population of this species.

Today we are concentrating on female CWD and there comes the challenge: The only way to tell the difference between male and female is to identify the fangs. To do that properly you need precise and brilliant premium optics – just like our VICTORY SF.

Our lightweight and bright binoculars do a perfect job once again. You can see every detail perfectly clear and even when you’re not sure at first, you can observe as long as you want without getting tired – due to the anti-fatiguing concept. In the end the equipment convinces one more time and all the hunters are proud to say, that they managed every single hunting situation on the trip with one equipment – just as we promised.

After packing the bus, saying Good bye to all the guides and supporters and glancing at the wide fields and beautiful landscape of Britain for one last time, it is time to leave. Packed with great memories and the certainty, that with ZEISS you’re prepared for almost everything…
