For ten days everything was about “On your marks, get set, vote.” In eight photo votings the ZEISS community decided on their favorite photos taken by two teams of photographers in Thailand’s capital Bangkok. Days full of excitement, emotion and fun, but also unforeseen situations, lie behind us which offered us many new insights into Thai culture and travel photography. Laura Saffiotti, Mac Kwan, Muga Miyahara and David Maupilé let the audience participate in their activities every day during the ZEISS Challenge. Below you can find behind-the-scenes information on every Challenge. You can read about the most demanding aspects of every task and what was most interesting for the photographers. And you can see which photo won each day. Of course in a competition there is always one winner. It was really a neck-and-neck race. Finally, Team Community, consisting of Laura Saffioti and Mac Kwan, collected more votes for their photos than Team Professional and scored a very narrow victory in the ZEISS Challenge. Congratulations!
The eighth and last Photo Voting in our ZEISS Challenge is over. To enjoy and shoot the lively and lovely Bangkok our photographers have had the chance to go out and capture the motifs of their own choice. Below you can find the resulting photos and how the community voted.
The seventh Photo Voting in our ZEISS Challenge is over. Today it was all about the spiritual side of Bangkok. Humbly our four photographers Muga, Laura, Mac and David took some really great shots of spiritual moments and places. Below you can find the resulting photos and how the community voted.
The ZEISS Challenge: Touit in Bangkok is coming to an end. Tomorrow will be the last challenge and we decided to let Muga, Mac, Laura and David go out and do some freestyle street / travel photography. If you have any wishes for the last photo shooting or suggestions for our four, please leave a comment!
The sixth Photo Voting in our ZEISS Challenge is over. This time it was all about the colorful side of Bangkok. And our four photographers found many wonderful sceneries that let you dive right into the sea of color. Unfortunately we had some technical issues with our blog last night and therefore only a voting on Facebook with respective authentication. This seems to have stopped many from participating. Besides, the blog is our content base for many other social platforms, e.g. Twitter or Flickr so that our communities there did not have a chance to vote this time. That's why the number of votes is much smaller than in the votings before. Nevertheless, below you can find the resulting photos and how the community voted.
The fifth Photo Voting in our ZEISS Challenge is over. This time our four photographers roamed Bangkok's night life. There was a lot to see and again Laura, Muga, Mac and David had very different approaches to get the best shot for you. Below you can find the resulting photos and how the community voted.
The third Photo Voting is over. Mac, Muga, David and Laura were on the water and had to capture the floating markets and the people who are doing business there. Below you can find the resulting photos and how the community voted. Again, the two photos placed on top are very close.
